Foreign Land of Dreams

So after a week of lovely holidays I'm back! I spent last week in Cairns with two friends and we had such a delightful time...we went snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef (which by the way I would definitely recommend), we traveled to Port Douglas and went to one of the best beaches I've ever seen, we saw craters, waterfalls, rainforests, coffee shops (and tried something at each one:) and generally laughed so much it hurt...
My travel bug has been reawakened (although I remembered why I don't like planes that much) and it's made me want to see the world, fly to exotic places...there are no words to describe adequately how much I want to travel!! I expect I'm not the only one?

My ideal destination would have to be something like Bora Bora or the British Virgin Islands or just anything in the Caribbean.
Followed closely by the Greek Islands, and I want to go back to Europe for a longer time and really see it.

Well, to all my fellow travellers out there, I hope you get your dream soon!

  1. The Great Barrier Reef! Sounds amazing! I recently got back from a road trip through northern California, but I'm itching to get a little further from home. India is my ultimate destination, but really I love traveling anywhere and everywhere. Your pictures look lovely. I love those table that have been taken over by vegetation. It looks most adventurous!

    2. Italy, i was good friends with an exchange student from there this past year and i learned so much from her. Plus, i think Italy is possibly one of the most beautiful countries. The towns are colorful, shorline GORGEOUS and they the best cuisine in the world hands down.

The GBR and Victoria Falls (in Africa) probs make my top 2 natural sights i want to see.
